Fabulous month in Cedar Key!!!

Dear Melvin,

We loved our stay at painted sky lodge. We always stay one month every summer and are thinking of booking with you for next July instead of August. Sorry the boat lifts did not work as we brought our brand new boat... regardless my husband fished 28 days straight..LOL

I believe I may have left some personal belongings.. did you find a red leather bag and shoes?

Pleasant, Relaxing Place

Very comfortable home, great views of sky and nature. Fantastic kitchen. Mr. Lauderdale was very welcoming.

weekend getaway was perfect for back to nature , quality family/friend times. rode the golf cart to all activities in town. sunrises on 2nd floor screened in porch were terrific! being next to small plane landing strip was a fun bonus!

Best place to stay in Cedar Key!!!

This was our 3rd trip to Painted Sky Lodge and we have already talked about the next! Great house, very clean and well stocked with essentials! Everyone is nice and it's always hard to leave! The dock is wonderful for fishing, watching planes land or just hanging out! The views are too beautiful to even describe! Love this place! Thanks for another great vacation!

Peaceful Paradise!

We stayed on this property in April and loved it! My father-in-law needed wheelchair access and we didn't want to stay in a condo or in a complex with a bunch of buildings and people. Painted Sky Lodge was perfect!

We had views from every room in the house! We saw the sunrise in the back yard and the sunset in the front. The main living area was very spacious and the decor was nice!

The Golf Cart was a bonus! We only drove the car once. We used that cart everyday whether it was for a quick run to the bakery or just to take a ride to explore the area.

Loved seeing the small planes take off and land! This didn't happen all the time and it was not a bother at all. It is a private airport and used here and there it seemed.

Did I mention the shore birds we saw daily and being able to fish or just read a book on the dock in the backyard! We did not want to leave!

I recommend this home to those who are looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway to regroup and unwind! We have stayed on Cedar Key before but not at this property. So glad we found Painted Sky Lodge!!

Fabulous island getaway

A wonderful long weekend for our family. This spacious lodge needs absolutely nothing and is fully equipped for any length of stay. The screened porch enabled us to enjoy the outdoors at any time of day. We will be back... Thank you!
